Heart disease,  also known as Atherosclerosis,  is a serious condition when high amounts of cholesterol  harden into plaque,  which builds up on the arterial walls.  Over very long periods of time this plaque  can eventually  block the blood from flowing to the heart, or brain, causing either heart attack or a stroke.  Luckily there are many things a man can do to help prevent this condition.  1. Regular exercise,2. Eating a lowfat low cholesterol diet,  3.keeping blood sugar under control, 4. Keeping blood pressure under control, and 5. Taking your proper cardiovascular  medications as prescribed  by your doctor.  6. Also having a high fiber content in the diet.   This can  help keep a man's heart healthy and well.
